Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Be a part of a professional team developing software for embedded systems running various RTOSes on Infineon’s family of microcontrollers. Focus will be on developing abstractions and APIs for various peripherals connected to the MCUs.
- Be responsible for integration of Infineon MCUs into third party ecosystems such as Matter, Sidewalk etc.
- Become a Leader for the team, you will gain experience in Embedded Design software delivery. Previous software development background is mandatory, as there will be a need to understand and react to technical problems at different levels (tasks definition, design, validation, even code review).
- Manage a team of senior and junior engineers. Scale the team and mentor the leads
- Deliver the software/firmware that gets bundled into Infineon’s next generation microcontrollers and legacy MCUs as part of train releases
- Coordinate between Asset Groups to deliver complete solutions
- Facilitate the adoption of the Software Processes as well as the integration into ModusToolbox across Infineon organizations
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Experience leading a group of 10+ people
- Strong motivation, ability to drive projects to get things done
- Scrum, daily standups, work in cross functional groups
- Management of geographically distributed teams and individuals
- Understanding of software development processes
- Experience in the development of processes optimization is desirable
- Understanding of RTOS and low level drivers
- Experience working on IoT & Wireless technologies
- Very good computer science background, also object oriented programming background is desirable
- Understanding of microcontrollers and associated development tools, ARM in particular is desirable
- Confluence, JIRA and experience in version control systems (Git)
- Open mind to learn new things
