We’re a startup at the intersection of video AI and social media, with experienced serial entrepreneurs, a world-class team, and solid financial backing. We’re looking for a talented Software Engineer, Android to join our core team and build the future of mobile content creation. As one of the first Android engineers, you’ll have the opportunity to architect and develop our Android app from the ground up. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend/ML teams to create a fast, intuitive, and beautifully crafted mobile experience that brings our generative AI tools to life.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain our native Android application using Kotlin.

  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver a world-class mobile experience tailored to creators.

  • Integrate APIs and backend services to power ML/AI-driven features in the app.

  • Ensure app performance, responsiveness, and reliability across a range of devices.

  • Build reusable components and write clean, testable, maintainable code.

  • Lead mobile engineering best practices, testing, and deployment workflows.

  • Help shape the Android roadmap and make key architectural decisions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Solid experience developing and shipping Android applications, ideally using Kotlin.

  • Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVI).

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, mobile databases, and offline data handling.

  • Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools on Android.

  • Comfortable working closely with backend engineers and integrating complex APIs.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this position is $165,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications (ranging from junior hires such as new graduates to senior hires with 25+ years of experience). This position is eligible for additional benefits and incentives, including equity, health benefits, retirement plans, and others described above. We are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices.

While the range aligns with the posted job description, we're open to various experience levels. If the role evolves based on the candidate, we’ll adjust and communicate the salary range accordingly.
