Job Summary:


 The Production Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations by managing the full lifecycle of work orders for component production. This includes accurately issuing new work orders, organizing them according to production schedules, reviewing them for completeness and accuracy, and continuously tracking their progress through each stage of the manufacturing process. The Production Assistant is also responsible for updating and maintaining detailed records to ensure timely completion and coordination across departments, helping to keep production running smoothly and efficiently. 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Issue work orders and compile job instructions for manufacturing team.
  • Organize work orders according to production schedule.
  • Review work orders against sales orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Track work orders in production and provide updates about progress.
  • Clear system of expired work orders.
  • Report finished tasks for production team.
  • Monitor stock inventory levels and material preparation for production team.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  •  Ability to use a computer, and experience with MRP systems is a plus. 
  •  Must have attention to detail and good communication skills. 
  •  Reliable attendance, and dedication to completing tasks. 
  •  Learn quickly, multi-task, and keep up in a fast-paced environment. 

Willing to train the right candidate, this position is in an office setting with some responsibilities out on the shop floor.
