Our client in the global professional services industry is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant with a strong background in SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) to join their team. This hybrid role requires a certified professional with deep knowledge of both SAP EC and ECP, particularly in the South African context. The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support of SAP Payroll solutions integrated with SuccessFactors.
What you will do:
- Analyse business requirements and design SAP Payroll solutions that meet client needs.
- Implement and configure SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) in alignment with both global and local payroll requirements.
- Configure and support South Africa-specific payroll functionalities.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and ECP, including Time Management and Finance modules.
- Design and configure schemas, rules, wage types, and off-cycle payroll processes.
- Support and develop payroll interfaces with third-party vendors, banks, and government agencies.
- Conduct end-to-end testing including unit, integration, and UAT.
- Document all configuration, processes, and system design in line with internal policies and audit requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure effective end-to-end SAP Payroll integration.
Qualifications
The qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree, university degree or equivalent experience.
Mandatory soft skills:
- Strong understanding and practical experience with integration between SAP EC and ECP.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across global and local teams.
Mandatory hard skills:
- SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) – configuration and implementation.
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) – integration and support.
- SAP EC payroll interfaces.
- Employee Central Payroll certification (must-have).
