Description

The Manager, Corporate Giving and Special Events is responsible for leading all aspects of GSNEO's signature fundraising events and other development initiatives. This role focuses on designing, producing, and executing events that provide enjoyable and inspiring experiences for guests. The Manager will develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to achieve revenue goals while identifying, cultivating, and soliciting corporate sponsors and providing stewardship for existing donors. Collaboration across GSNEO departments is essential to ensure that all events strongly reflect our mission.


Major Accountabilities:

- Lead the planning and execution of signature fundraising events and other development activities.

- Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.

- Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective corporate supporters.

- Solicit sponsorships and donations from corporate partners.

- Provide stewardship and maintain relationships with existing donors.

- Collaborate with various departments to integrate mission-driven components into all events.

- Monitor and evaluate event success, providing insights for future improvements.

Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in related field or experience commensurate with degree; three to five years related experience preferred
  • High-level computer literacy and proficiency with fundraising databases and the MS Office suite of software applications. Experience using DonorPerfect or similar fundraising software required
  • Proven experience in event planning and fundraising
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors and donors
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Passion for the mission of GSNEO and commitment to community engagement. 
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends
