GFT Ready Mix is a rapidly growing, family-run business founded in 1999, built on a team-oriented culture and supportive atmosphere. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist who is responsible for managing the accounts receivable process from billing to collections, with a strong focus on ensuring timely lien rights management, including the preparation and submission of pre-liens. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction accounting/ready mix and a solid understanding of the lien process in Arizona.

Job Duties
Some job duties include but are not limited to:
· Generate and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner based on project milestones, contracts and change orders
· Monitor and manage accounts receiving aging, following up with customers regarding past due invoices
· Prepare and file preliminary notices (pre-liens) and maintain documentation in compliance with AZ laws and deadlines
· Maintain accurate records of lien-related notices and releases
· Communicate effectively with customers to resolve payment issues or discrepancies
· Apply cash receipts to customer accounts and reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger
· Assist with month-end close processes and reporting
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and help streamline AR functions
Requirements
· 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable required, preferably within the construction industry
· Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
· Strong knowledge of pre-lien and lien laws, including requirements in Arizona
· Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
· Experience with AIA billing and waivers
· Familiarity with construction contract terms and retention billing
· Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
· Must be able to pass a background check
Working Conditions
· May be required to work long shifts, including evenings and/or weekends in order to meet accounting deadlines
