Supervises Operations & Maintenance Technicians in the proper operation and maintenance of the plant to ensure proper understanding and implementation of procedures for safe, effective and efficient plant operation and maintenance. • Implements required employee training programs to ensure completion of those requirements. Coordinates and oversees daily work of contractor personnel during outages and after normal hours to ensure compliance with GE Vernova requirements. • Provides a safe and productive work environment for team members congruent with GE Vernova desired culture and in full support of core values, core competencies and organizational goals. • • Oversees activities of an assigned team on a 12-hour rotating shift. • Develops system operational procedures and guidelines for approval by the Plant Manager. • Coordinates and participates in daily plant activities. • Assists in formulating annual O&M / Capital budgets and work plans. • Provides feedback and recommendations for employee performance. • Prepares daily and weekly work schedules. • Maintains proper inventory of materials and chemicals to ensure uninterrupted plant operation. • Implements and supervises site Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) program. • Effectively communicates plant status with Plant Manager and plant personnel. • Coordinates and communicates with dispatch personnel to meet Shady Hills dispatch schedules and load requirements. Leads and reports troubleshooting efforts and investigations related to LOTO violations, equipment failures, environmental, and safety related incidents, takes short term actions and follows up with long term solutions. • • Performs as a project leader, a single point of contact for outage activities, including Outage Coordinator, as needed. • Performs operations and maintenance technician level activities as needed. • Develops and maintains a Subject Matter Expert level of knowledge for one or more major plant processes or systems. Takes a proactive approach regarding personal safety, safety of others and compliance with all OSHA and SECI safety rules. Must complete all necessary online or classroom safety courses as directed. Must lead in safety briefings and meetings. • Takes a proactive approach regarding environmental rules and regulations governing the operation of the plant. Must complete all necessary online or classroom environmental courses as directed. Required to immediately report any, and all, environmental reportable incidents. • • Performs other duties as applicable to the position or as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Engineering or related degree or equivalent training is desirable. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in power plant operations to include five (5) years in supervision is required.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $72,400-$108,600 USD Annually.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
