Summary

The position of Quality Coordinator will review, sign-off, and organize daily quality records. They will also coordinate aspects of the site’s Quality Management System to ensure that it meets company and GFSI standard requirements. The coordinator will assist site and corporate Quality & Food Safety management as needed. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  •  Support of the Quality & Food Safety Department
  • Review of daily paperwork to assure regulatory, customer and company requirements are met and that data is accurate and complete
  • Filing of paperwork and scanned completed daily paperwork
  •  Manage the F&S Fresh Foods Quality Management System documentation (both hard copy & electronic versions) to be current, accurate and accessible
  • Training Coordinator for Food Safety & Quality topics 
  •  Maintain Master Quality Calendar 
  • Document Traceability Exercises and Evaluations
  •  Approve Labels
  • Gather information for meetings
  • Data Analysis and Trend Reporting
  •  Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

This job has no direct supervision over any company personnel. This position will identify, correct and educate employees on procedures within the operation as directed.  This position will report findings to the Quality Manager.

Education/Experience Level, Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: 

  • Documented related experience in school or employment
  • Experience with record keeping, documentation, and data management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience working in a Food Manufacturing Environment
  • Supervisory experience helpful
