Job Description
The Senior Director, G&A FP&A will serve as a strategic finance partner to the broader G&A organization, including Finance, HR, Legal, IT, and Facilities - driving financial planning, leading the annual budgeting process, and delivering data-driven insights and analysis to support key business decisions. This role will play a critical part in aligning financial strategy with operational goals across multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual financial planning process including working with the department heads and business unit leaders to develop the business and financial plans, and to ensure the plans are operationalized.
- Lead a team of finance professionals to drive FP&A activities across G&A organizations. This includes staff based in India as well as other regions/business units.
- Drive data-driven decision support to the organization by compiling inputs and underlying assumptions, coupled with knowledge and expertise in business areas.
- Liaise and collaborate with a broad range of cross-functional leaders to obtain asumptions, identify key merics, assess impacts, and run sensitivity/scenario analysis to provide decision support.
- Build scalable processes and systems to provide transparency and efficiency across the organization
- Lead internal projects and new business opportunities based on modeling and net present value evaluations for alternative scenarios
- Prepare presentations targeted at senior management and the Board of Directors
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the finance team in India
Please note this is a hybrid role with onsite expectations of 3x/week (Tuesday-Thursday) from our San Mateo, CA Headquarters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics; Master's degree in Finance or Economics preferred
- 15+ years of progressive experience in FP&A roles, with similar FP&A leadership experience
- Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts
- Excellent business communication skills
- Strong attention to detail; working in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner
- Solid analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making ability
- Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
- Ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders
- Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities
Additional Information
This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs, and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a target bonus.
Compensation Package
The targeted annual base salary range for this position is $237,700 - $341,665 USD
