FORSHAW has an immediate need for an individual to join our team as a Marketing & Event Strategist. This position will be responsible for supporting a wide range of marketing initiatives to bolster our brand’s presence and achieve our strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this position will be based out of our corporate office in Charlotte, North Carolina.


The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and be creative, solution-oriented, and self-directed with the ability to work closely with both internal teams and external customers. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to manage timelines and projects effectively are critical to success in this role. A focus on accuracy and pride in one’s work are essential attributes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned with company goals and growth initiatives
  • Plan and execute national and internal events, including budgeting, logistics, vendor coordination, communications, and on-site support
  • Project manage all event timelines, deliverables, contracts, and tasks from start to finish
  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of event collateral and promotional materials, including scheduling, design, production, and delivery (e.g., invitations, signage, posters, handouts, swag, etc.)
  • Lead the strategy and execution of FORSHAW’s internal and external storefronts, managing inventory, sourcing new merchandise, developing branded items, and uncovering opportunities to drive customer and employee engagement through thoughtful product curation
  • Independently own the creation of digital and print assets using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite; deliver high-quality, brand-aligned materials without relying on external design resources
  • Manage the sourcing, design, and procurement of promotional items for events and marketing campaigns
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging and branding
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns across email, digital, and social platforms in alignment with vendor and internal standards
  • Conduct ongoing market research and monitor digital trends to optimize campaign performance and maintain a competitive edge
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Coordinator to plan and execute brand-driven campaigns that enhance visibility, drive engagement, and align with overall marketing objectives across various channels
  • Perform additional marketing and communications tasks as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Seven to ten years of experience required; bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred.
  • Must possess strong ability to approach problem-solving both creatively and analytically.
  • Basic design skills in Canva or Adobe required.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and data analytics tools. Experience with Mailchimp and social media content development is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Event planning and project management experience required.
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for pushing creative boundaries to elevate the look, feel, and flow of each event.
  • Proven track record of success in executing high-impact marketing and event initiatives, with strong attention to detail and an evolving creative eye for elevating brand experiences.
  • Must be able to travel multiple times per year to execute national events.
