The Opportunity
As Flock Safety brings our newest intelligence product, Nova, to market, we are entering a critical phase in ensuring Law Enforcement agencies can realize immediate and lasting value from the platform. Nova is a powerful tool, but its impact depends on frontline users, analysts, and command staff knowing how to integrate it into their day-to-day operations quickly and effectively.
We’re hiring a Training & Deployment Specialist to build and execute at the same time. That includes traveling to agencies, leading hands-on training, and helping define what world-class onboarding looks like for this product. This person will not only help customers adopt Nova but they’ll help define how we scale this function for the future.
The Skillset
What You’ll Do:
Lead on-site and virtual training sessions across all roles within law enforcement agencies: patrol, investigators, crime analysts, real-time crime center (RTCC) teams, and executive command.
Serve as a Nova expert and implementation partner during onboarding, ensuring every agency is configured for success from day one.
Partner with CSMs and Sales Engineers to customize deployment plans that meet the operational needs of each customer.
Leverage data-driven usage insights to proactively identify training gaps, improve product adoption, and drive customer outcomes.
Gather feedback from agencies to improve training content, product configuration, and onboarding workflows.
Develop scalable training documentation, quick-start guides, videos, and onboarding assets.
Track onboarding milestones and partner with the broader Success team to reduce Time to Value and increase product adoption.
Travel frequently (~75%) to customer locations for in-person training and deployments.
Help define what “great onboarding” looks like for Nova and build the long-term process, tooling, and playbooks.
About You:
5+ years of experience in Customer Success, training, or implementation roles in a SaaS or technical product environment.
Experience working with or within Law Enforcement or public safety agencies is highly preferred, in particular- a background using analytical or intelligence tools
Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, from front-line officers to command staff - and adjusting training styles accordingly.
Ability to travel extensively and thrive in dynamic, face-to-face engagements.
Self-starter who is excited to build something from scratch and iterate fast.
Excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills.
Passionate about public safety, customer impact, and creating structure in ambiguous environments.
Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box? That’s okay; we’ve felt that way too. Studies have shown women and minorities are less likely to apply unless they meet all qualifications. We encourage you to break the status quo and apply to roles that would make you excited to come to work every day.
