🌟 Your Impact at Lila
As Lila’s first software Designer, you will shape the user journey of the Lila App, the window into our AI and Autonomous Lab Platform. You will define workflows, prototype innovative interfaces, and collaborate across teams to ensure that every feature is unified into an intuitive and efficient app for science
🛠️ What You'll Be Building
- End-to-end design of native app to power scientists
- Wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that translate user needs into clear interfaces.
- A cohesive design system, including components, guidelines, and documentation for consistency and scalability.
- Collaborative feedback loops with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to refine and implement designs.
🧰 What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 4+ years of experience in digital product design, preferably in SaaS or data-intensive applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of work from research and wireframing to polished visual designs.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility best practices.
- Extreme openness to leveraging the latest AI tools to redefine how your profession operates
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, able to present and iterate on designs based on feedback.
✨ Bonus Points For
- Experience in life sciences, biotech, or scientific research software.
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries or principles (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, Plotly).
- Basic front-end prototyping skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
- Prior involvement in building or scaling a design system.
