About the Role:

Title: Software Engineer

Seniority Level: Entry-level

Location: Seattle, WA

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (in-office 3 days per week)

Impact & Outcomes

As a Software Engineer I, your success will be defined by:

• Delivering production-quality features that enhance Evertune AI’s capabilities and user experience.

• Supporting seamless querying and insight extraction from major LLMs at scale.

• Increasing backend performance, resilience, and scalability of our systems.

• Contributing to a high-velocity engineering culture with bi-weekly sprints and regular deployments.

• Proactively solving and preventing live site issues, contributing to a more stable platform.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, code, and ship features across both customer-facing and backend systems.

• Develop end-to-end functionality for benchmarking AI engagement, content strategy optimization, and AI education.

• Work closely with Product and UX to define features, shipping cadence, and release criteria.

• Scale and maintain our core platform using Python (FastAPI), Vue, MongoDB, and Google Cloud infrastructure.

• Interact with all major LLM REST APIs to automate and extract AI-driven insights.

• Improve system architecture to ensure responsiveness, reliability, and resilience under varying loads.

• Collaborate cross-functionally using Jira, GitHub, and Slack, and support a culture of fast, quality deployments.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Python and JavaScript, with experience in FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.

• Exposure to modern front-end development using Vue or a comparable framework.

• Strong familiarity with backend architecture, data processing, data pipelines, data visualization, and coding practices.

• Familiarity with cloud deployment and serverless architectures (e.g., Google Cloud App Engine, Cloud Functions).

• Demonstrated ability to write high-quality, maintainable code and ship features incrementally.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience interacting with LLM APIs or building AI/ML-powered products.

• Prior exposure to MongoDB, Google Scheduler, and Cloud Tasks.

• Understanding of scalable system design and security best practices.

• A passion for learning and staying on top of the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.
