Position Summary:

Ergotron is seeking a strategic and hands-on Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead our global FP&A function. This role is critical in driving financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making across our manufacturing operations in North America, Europe, and Asia. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial expertise, strong business acumen, and a collaborative leadership style to support our continued growth and transformation. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global FP&A function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial reporting across all business units and product portfolios.
  • Partner with the CFO and executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with corporate goals.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for business leaders and senior management.
  • Analyze manufacturing cost structures, supply chain dynamics, and capital investments to optimize profitability and efficiency.
  • Partner closely with business unit/ functional leaders providing guidance and insight into business cases that support key business initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support scenario planning, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
  • Provide actionable insights through variance analysis, KPI tracking, and performance dashboards.
  • Collaborate with plant controllers and regional finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as global expansion, M&A, and ERP implementations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems (e.g., ERP, BI platforms).
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team with a global mindset.
  • Additional duties as requested.
  • Supports site specific QMS initiatives for continuous process improvement.

Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and global supply chain finance.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • M&A process and integration experience required. 
  • Data driven mindset, strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis. 
  • Must have excellent Microsoft Excel, communication and presentation skills. 
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial planning tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Power BI).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multicultural environment.
  • Experience in a mid-sized, global manufacturing company (revenue between $200M–$1B).
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements and financial transformation.
  • Strong leadership presence with a collaborative and hands-on approach.
  • Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job as described to you for the position.
