Assignment Overview:
- Location: Onsite in Los Angeles, CA
- Commitment: Contract – Single or multiple scheduled in-person sessions as needed

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and facilitate interactive, practical training sessions on hazardous chemicals, focusing on sodium hypochlorite and its application in manufacturing environments.
- Deliver clear guidance on safe storage, use, and handling procedures for sodium hypochlorite.
- Explain key requirements of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) onsite, ensuring participants understand how to interpret and apply critical safety information.
- Reinforce OSHA and local regulatory standards related to hazardous chemical handling and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Promote a safety-first culture by providing real-world examples, answering participant questions, and adapting delivery style for diverse audiences.
- Assess participant understanding through hands-on demonstrations and interactive exercises.
- Coordinate with site contacts and follow all site-specific safety protocols.
Requirements:
- 1+ years facilitating safety, environmental health, manufacturing, or chemical safety training, ideally with sodium hypochlorite or similar substances.
- Proven ability to read, interpret, and teach from Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and related documentation.
- Strong command of best practices in hazardous material handling and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with all staff levels in a manufacturing environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to deliver clear, actionable safety guidance.
- Current knowledge of applicable OSHA and California workplace safety regulations.
- Reliable transportation to client site in Los Angeles, CA and willingness to strictly follow in-person safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in occupational health, environmental safety, HazMat, or related field.
- Experience delivering training in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments.
