Job Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Proactively manage and strengthen relationships with an existing portfolio of commercial real estate service accounts through regular, strategic engagement and scheduled client visits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Collaborate closely with our Business Development team and leadership to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to customer success.
Account Growth & Sales
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue growth targets for existing accounts.
- Strive to achieve and surpass assigned margin contribution targets through strategic account development and value-driven solutions.
- Develop, present, and follow up on compelling proposals for transactional work and service enhancements.
Operational Excellence & Collaboration
- Work closely with service and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery, accurate job information flow (e.g., to Client Experience Coordinators), and overall client satisfaction.
- Conduct pre-service walk-throughs for significant projects to ensure clarity, preparedness, and successful execution.
- Verify the quality of work executed, identify opportunities for improvement, and communicate these effectively to supervisors.
- Foster a collaborative environment by actively communicating with all internal teams to promote the full suite of company brands and services.
Market Engagement & Reporting
- Represent the company at industry events (e.g., BOMA, IFMA) and other relevant marketing activities to enhance brand visibility and network with key stakeholders.
- Identify and qualify new business leads stemming from existing client interactions and refer them to the appropriate Business Development Manager.
- Meticulously maintain client records, activities, and sales pipeline information in our CRM (Salesforce)
Professional Development
- Commit to continuous learning by attending a minimum of 10 hours of industry-related training classes annually.
- Actively participate in all formal and informal company or departmental meetings.
- Undertake other activities as assigned that contribute to the company's growth and market presence.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of account management, sales, or client-facing operations experience within related commercial real estate service companies (e.g., property management, facility services, commercial cleaning, building maintenance).
- Proven experience in lead generation, prospect management, and achieving sales or growth targets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently and professionally engage with clients at all levels, including C-Level Executives.
- A persuasive, goal-oriented mindset combined with an energetic, outgoing, and genuinely likeable demeanor - a true "go-getter".
- Strong listening, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize workload, and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Working Conditions
- This job operates in a clerical office and field setting, requiring frequent local travel for face-to-face meetings with clients and other business partners. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Physical Requirements
- Must communicate effectively with employees and/or other clients; manual dexterity is required for occasional reaching and lifting small objects and operating office equipment. This job may include some lifting up to 25 lbs. and other physical labor of moving hardware/equipment.
