Job Description

CyberArk is seeking a highly motivated and experienced AI Data Engineer with strong analytical capabilities and creative thinking skills to join our AI Technology group. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data engineering and machine learning—someone who can design scalable data solutions to support AI first business solutions. 

About the Team:  

The team provides support to the entire Transforming Our Work initiative by building, automating and maintaining internal infrastructure in a manner that enables “self-service”, low/no code and enterprise solutions. It consists of development in support of internal tools, infrastructure for testing and development and enterprise technology support for CI/CD, DevOps and orchestration.  

We are currently looking for an AI Data Engineer to join us in our work to collaborate with data scientists and developers to create AI solutions for our business 

Responsibilities: 

  • Build high-performance, resilient, and automated data pipelines using modern orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Prefect) and cloud-native services 
  • Collaborate to develop and optimize retrieval-augmented generation models to enhance the accuracy and relevance of generated content. 
  • In collaboration with the data science team, incorporate efficient retrieval systems to fetch relevant data from large datasets, ensuring the generation process is informed by accurate and up-to-date information 
  • Monitor and evaluate model performance: Continuously assess the performance of RAG models, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments. 
  • Business Requirements Translation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable data solutions 
  • Lead and manage data-related projects end-to-end, including planning, configuration, testing, and deployment 
  • Act as a technical mentor, sharing expertise with colleagues and promoting best practices in data engineering and business analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information science, computer science, or a related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering strong business intuition 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation solutions/pipelines and their application 
  • Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar, specifically in the context of developing RAG models 
  • Ability to analyze complex data and model performance metrics, identifying and addressing issues to improve outcomes 
  • Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, or Prefect 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and services  
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 
  • Strong project management skills and experience working in cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience in the hi-tech industry and working in global teams is a plus

The salary range for this position is $98,000 – $135,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
