Job Description
This position is responsible for pitching, prospecting, evaluating, leading, and executing strategic partnerships and business development opportunities that support the long-term strategy of the company. The position partners across all business verticals including partnering with many internal stakeholders to develop and execute partnerships that extend, where possible across the entire Aspen One platform. The position assists with determining the long-term strategy of the company as it relates to business development and strategic partnerships.
The budgeted salary range for this position is $132,000 - $185,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
- Define and evolve partnership strategy to maximize brand awareness, guest experience and business impact.
- Create business and revenue driving initiatives for the business units.
- · Own the development of pipeline and relationship building with key prospects to ensure successful outcomes.
- Drive cross functional projects with key teams including Events, PR, Product, Content, Brand, Operations and Finance to bring partnerships to life.
- Execute brand partnership opportunities that drive outsize awareness through affiliation with top tier partners and access to additional prospects and messaging.
- Maximize earned media opportunities through well executed partnerships that create buzz for our brands.
- Responsible for negotiating and developing deals in partnership with legal, Aspen One leadership and our vertical business leaders.
- Lead communication with partners and across departments to seamlessly execute programs and deliverables, while always hitting deadlines.
- Develop decks, presentations, and pitch materials for internal and partner-facing needs.
- Partner locally to develop community relationships to drive connectivity.
- Support wholesale partnerships or collaborative opportunities as needed.
- Other duties as assigned for all roles.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business administration or other appropriate related field of study is required.
- A minimum of ten years of direct experience working across brand, product, marketing and distribution partnerships.
- Must have experience defining the business objectives, strategy, value equation and executing aspects of unique partnerships and collaborations that increase brand awareness, enhance the guest experience, and drives business growth.
- Has experience owning a deal process from pitch to successful launch

- Knowledge of industry and cultural trends and what excites consumers
- High level of business acumen, research, and analytical skills
- Outstanding communicator with excellent presentation and strong written and oral communications skills
- Has exceptional organizational and project management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Exceptional ability to lead through influence with internal and external partners to build consensus.
- Has the ability to structure and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive to completion
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically on tactical projects
- Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management
- Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external partners
- Ability to lead through change and the fast pace of a growing brand
- Ability to handle sensitive or proprietary company information in a confidential manner
- Highly adaptable and capable of working in a dynamic, evolving, and cross-functional environment
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Additional Information
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Work is generally performed in a standard office environment
- Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
- Occasional adverse or hazardous conditions may exist when attending events
- Occasionally requires walking over uneven or slippery surfaces
- Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
- Occasional travel is required as necessary
