We build proprietary technology and human-in-the-loop workflows to radically enhance the lawyer-machine relationship. The Role

As a Founding Technical Recruiter, you’ll have the unique opportunity to set the foundation of one of Crosby’s most important functions. 

Crosby needs a rare breed of technical talent; simultaneously capable of developing software, leveraging AI, and working with skilled professionals from a completely different domain.

You’ll be responsible for designing and owning our processes to find this rare talent, bring them to Crosby, and make them love us. You’ll have strong opinions, and you’ll have the drive to bring them to reality.

What You’ll do

  • Understand the Work: Partner with hiring managers to understand their goals, meet their hiring needs, and develop effective recruiting strategies.

  • Find the Talent: Identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and networking events.

  • Manage the Process: Manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.

  • Respect the Candidate: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from the first point of contact to the final offer.

  • Know the Market: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the technology and AI job market to inform recruiting strategies.

  • Build the Team: Mentor and manage future recruiters as we grow.

  • Preach the Gospel: Promote Crosby's culture and mission to attract top talent and enhance the company’s employer brand.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of technical recruiting experience. Software engineers, designers, and PMs at a fast-growing startup.

  • Proven track record of attracting top talent across various levels and engineering disciplines.

  • Have built a recruiting function from the ground up, or reported directly to someone who has while they were doing it.

  • Excited by the potential of technology and AI to improve work and life.

  • Love working with people who have different skills and backgrounds.
