Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter with a strong background in government contracting to lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for cleared and uncleared positions. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in sourcing technical talent, understands the nuances of federal contracting, and is comfortable supporting both active programs and proposal efforts. This role has a lot of visibility and works closely with the C Suite,  partners closely with hiring managers, business development, and program leaders to ensure we attract and hire qualified professionals aligned with customer and contract requirements.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for positions requiring Public Trust, Secret, and Top Secret/SCI clearances.
  • Source and pipeline candidates for a variety of roles including IT, cybersecurity, engineering, program management, and administrative support.
  • Partner with proposal teams to support capture efforts and contingent offers on bids, including resume formatting and salary strategy.
  • Develop and maintain  relationships with cleared professionals and passive candidates through targeted outreach, networking, and events.
  • Screen candidates for technical skills, clearance level, and contract fit, ensuring all submissions meet contract labor category requirements.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies, and provide regular updates.
  • Ensure compliance with OFCCP, EEO, and other federal hiring regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and manage recruitment      metrics/reporting.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and clearance job expos.
  • Metrics - Need to be well versed in creating and tracking recruiting related metrics.

  


Requirements

 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of HR/recruiting experience, with at least 3 years in federal government contracting.
  • Proven track record sourcing and placing candidates in cleared and technical roles.
  • Strong understanding of contract labor categories, security clearance requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Experience supporting proposal recruiting, including contingent hires and surge hiring.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Paylocity, Workday, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with contract types (CPFF, T&M, FFP) and labor category mappings (e.g., SCA, GSA      schedules).
  • Experience working with ICs, subcontracts, and team agreements.
  • Working knowledge of cleared job boards such as ClearedJobs.net, ClearanceJobs, and Dice Clearance.
  • AIRS certification, SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar credential is nice to have.
