Responsibilities

As a Clinical Informaticist III at Community, you’ll serve as an experienced internal consultant and subject matter expert within our Information Systems team. From analyzing and documenting clinical workflows to leading complex projects, you’ll help translate clinical needs into technical solutions that advance care delivery across our system. 

With your advanced understanding of clinical operations and application design, you’ll guide system planning efforts, lead stakeholders through enhancement opportunities, and support vendor evaluation and selection. Your contributions will drive system-wide innovation as you develop scalable solutions, ensure data integrity, and champion continuous improvements — helping shape the future of healthcare technology at one of California’s top employers! 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare or Technology related field required 

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate and four (4) years' experience in a Healthcare related field may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree 

• 4 years of experience implementing and supporting clinical systems required 

• Professional clinical experience and proven success performing clinical workflows, user interface optimization, clinical decision support, rules development, data integration and mining, clinical ontologies and adoption of technology required
