Head of Finance

Compensation: $95,000–$125,000 plus bonus potential

We’re searching for a Head of Finance who can own our financial function while building smarter processes, stronger controls, and a team that thrives. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to our COO, with significant autonomy, impact, and room to grow.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting

• Deliver accurate, timely monthly financials for all property and corporate entities

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in collaboration with the COO

• Build and improve scalable systems and internal controls

• Leverage AppFolio and other tools to automate processes

• Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements

• Lead and mentor a team of 3 (1 Account Manager, 2 Accounting Associates)

• Support strategic planning with financial insights and analysis

What You Bring

• 5+ years of finance or accounting experience, with leadership responsibility

• Full-cycle accounting expertise

• Experience with property management accounting, ideally using AppFolio

• Strong process-building and analytical skills

• Proven ability to lead and coach small teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus)
