Job Summary
As an Escape Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for effectively managing all aspects of the lounge and the team. You will ensure the delivery of culinary and guest service excellence in line with business objectives and company standards to achieve and maximize set goals.
Job Functions
· Responsible for assisting with overseeing daily operations within the Lounge.
· Provide efficient leadership and training for the Team in line with the company values, ensuring world class guest service is provided in all functions.
· Manage HR functions within the Lounge, such as recruiting, scheduling, payroll approval, employee relations, coaching, and development, to retain a committed and engaged Team.
· Ensure all Lounge employees comply with Airport regulations and requirements.
· Accountable for all compliances within the lounge, including health and safety compliances.
· Responsibility for both front of house and administrative elements as business demands require.
· Accountability of the back of house element, menus adherence, food quantity, and food quality.
· Maintain, order, and control the stock of consumable items within the budget.
· Complete routine maintenance to ensure Lounge brand standards are maintained.
· Collaborate and strategize with AMEX and other Lounge partners.
· Promote and foster engagement CAVU Values and culture with Escape Lounge Team Members.
· Ensure the lounge meets CAVU and Escape Lounge brand standards in all areas, including but not limited to: Culture, Policies, Food and Beverage programs, Administrative and HR functions, Facilities organization and cleanliness, and airport compliance and partnership.

· You must be over 21 years old to comply with our service of alcohol policy.
· All candidates must be able to successfully pass the TSA airport badge screening process.
· For locations that have airside driving capabilities, must have valid Driver’s License
Required Education and Experience
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); prior restaurant management experience
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to fluently speak, write, and read the English language.
· ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate, BASSETT Certificate
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This position operates in an airport lounge setting. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns. Frequent hand washing is required. Employees may be frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
· Perform calmly and effectively in a very busy work environment.
· Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels.
· Must be able to stand or walk for the majority of a shift.
· Must be able to push/pull carts with product that weigh up to 50 pounds or more
· Must be able to lift and carry sacks, boxes, product up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level, approximately 20 feet.
· Must be able to reach (6” to overhead), bend, stoop, wipe.
