Job Description

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Business Partner to support our fast-growing teams across the EMEA region. This role will take ownership of regional HR operations, with a particular emphasis on payroll coordination, compliance, and supporting the employee lifecycle. As a strategic and operational partner, you'll play a critical role in scaling our people practices while aligning with global HR standards and regional legal requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Payroll Ownership: Manage, audit, and execute accurate monthly payroll (primarily Germany, France, and others), working closely with local payroll providers and Finance teams.
  • Regional HR Operations: Ensure compliant and efficient people operations across the EMEA region, including onboarding, contract generation, benefits administration, and offboarding.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Compliance & Labor Law: Ensure employment practices comply with local labor laws and regulations across the EMEA region; keep internal policies and documentation up-to-date.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the global People team, Finance to align on company-wide initiatives and country-specific implementations.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain and improve data integrity in our HR systems; ensure accurate records for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Project Ownership: Lead or contribute to People projects such as compensation reviews, policy harmonization, and payroll system integrations across the EMEA region.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years of payroll coordination in EMEA countries (Germany and France strongly preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in at least two EMEA countries.
  • Proven ability to manage payroll processes and work with external vendors.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Personio, Workday, BambooHR).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Start-up or scale-up experience is a plus.
