Customer Reporting Specialist
Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Reporting Specialist who will be responsible for preparing, analysing and delivering accurate and timely reports to customers.
The Finance and Operations team are responsible for multiple aspects of the business including Pricing, IT & Development, Reporting and Finance. The team goals are to be the leaders of change in the business, embedding wherever possible the systems and processes within our client’s workflow.
The salary banding for this role is £28,000 -£31,000 per annum. The working hours are 35 hours per week, from Monday to Friday on a hybrid working pattern with the option to work from home 2 days per week following successful probation.

CBS Knowledge
- Develop an in depth understanding of CBSs product portfolio, car benefit efficiencies and reporting needs of customers.
Client Analysis / Reporting
- Prepare and deliver periodic client reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure gather and validate data, ensuring schemes are operating compliantly, reporting findings to relevant department.
- Payroll, P11d and vehicle margin reporting for customers.
- Design, control, and manage a robust Car Benefit Loan (CBL) model to support the long-term strategy and growth of CBS schemes.
- Management of CBL’s for clients, including providing monthly summaries, accruals and payroll submissions.
- Design reporting to demonstrate savings and benefits of the schemes CBS operate.
- Annual production of Approved Mileage Allowance Payment (AMAP) statements.
- Design reporting to validate completeness of client data raising with internal teams and external customers to resolve.
- Assist in the automation of reporting processes using tools such as Excel, Power BI, & SQL.
- Support onboarding of new clients by setting up reporting structures and schedules.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all client-facing reports and dashboards, regularly reviewing and interrogating data.
- Respond to client queries regarding reports and provide insights or clarifications as needed.
- Maintain and improve reporting templates and processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Monitor data integrity and escalate discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Compliance Reporting.

- Ability to maintain high accuracy and thoroughness when executing tasks.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong presentation skills and experience of data visualisation tools such as PowerBi.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks/deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work on own initiative and self-motivate.
