2025 Take the Lead Fellowship
Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Boston Red Sox in partnership with the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, and New England Revolution created the Take the Lead Fellowship in 2017 as part of a collaboration and commitment between the five teams to ensure that their venues and front offices were spaces that felt welcoming to all, reflected the vibrant diversity of New England, and were spaces that stood up to hate and bigotry. Since then, we have grown the collective to include the Boston Fleet, Boston Common Golf, and the Boston Legacy Football Club. One particular initiative to help facilitate that shared commitment amongst the teams is the Take the Lead Fellowship program. The Fellowship is uniquely designed as a rotational opportunity, where the individual will spend up to four weeks at each of the participating professional sports teams’ front offices. The goal of the one-year Fellowship is to broaden their exposure to the sports industry, learn skills needed for future positions in the industry, develop a valuable and extensive professional network, and gain additional perspective on how the teams foster an inclusive and accepting environment in each of the respective venues.
