Job Description

Seeking a Head of Digital Acquisition obsessed with improving the lives of small business owners through technology. Every day, millions of small business owners are frustrated with booking services by  phone calls, text messages, and booking platforms that aren’t built specifically for them. 

Your career as Head of Digital Acquisition at Booksy will give you the opportunity to improve these SMB owners’ lives by demonstrating our solution through your performance marketing strategy and execution across paid social, paid search, and organic search. 

Reporting to the Global Director of Growth Marketing and partnering closely with retention, product marketing, and creative teams, you’ll lead a team of digital marketing specialists and agencies to build and scale performance-driven campaigns.

Your job satisfaction from this business-critical position will come from knowing that you provided a better booking experience to millions of barber shops, hair salons, nail salons, and other SMB owners. You achieved this by building a controlled, fast-growing acquisition strategy with levers that you set up and oversee.

Essentially, to ensure you succeed in this role you’re going to need…

  • Planning: Lead the bottoms-up planning of acquisition targets with direct collaboration from finance to achieve aggressive growth goals.
  • Execution: Ensure smooth execution of always on, seasonal, and targeted campaigns across acquisition channels. 
  • Budget Ownership: Ensure CPAs are kept in check and make strategic investments where needed.
  • Advanced Segmentation: Leverage tools like Segment and our CDP to develop personalized, efficient journeys that cross channels and help high value users move towards conversion. 
  • SEO Strategy & Optimization: Oversee organic search efforts to drive acquisition and improve blended CPA. 
  • Reporting Rigor: Utilize data analytics tools to track campaign performance, analyze key metrics (CAC, CPC, LTV, ROAS, etc.), and report on ROI, adjusting strategies and budgets accordingly to optimize results.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of performance marketing professionals, providing guidance, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring team members have the resources and support to succeed.
  • Market Research & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new marketing platforms to inform strategy and keep the business competitive in a dynamic digital landscape.
