Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Procurement Agents to join our MHI/KHI Operations team in Everett, WA.

The Procurement Agent will provide support to external companies and internal organizations through his/her supply chain knowledge. Operations Procurement Agents for the Commercial Airplanes Systems commodity are the Boeing supply chain first line, managing a sophisticated web of suppliers that provide some of the most critical components of Boeing’s state-of-the-art commercial jetliners. Operations Procurement Agents for Structures oversee the delivery and quality performance of suppliers of major aircraft structural components.

This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes, and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate or Mid-Level Procurement Agents.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as the liaison and relationship owner between suppliers and Boeing.
  • Communicate performance expectations and metrics to the supplier.
  • Develop executive-level summaries and presentations and share input with executive leadership
  • Travel to suppliers and conduct assessments to ensure the supplier’s ongoing capability to support Boeing.
  • Provide oversight and management of the supply and demand of parts, schedules, and supplier quality and delivery.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, internal and external partners, and peers; including gaining rapport and engaging positively with internal and external collaborators, even in difficult circumstances.
  • Analyze and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g. on-time delivery) and using those indicators to predict risks; assist suppliers to develop new predictive indicators as needed.
  • Conduct risk, issue, and opportunity (RIO) management.
  • Mitigate discovered risks and initiate and implement supplier recovery plans and improvement activities.
  • Lead Root Cause/Corrective Action initiatives to improve systemic issues.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions regarding technical approaches, the resolution of quality issues, and the improvement of products and processes.
  • Perform some level of system transactions and data entry to maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) fidelity, support metric generation, and maintain stakeholder communication.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW) 
  • 1+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts 
  • 1+ years of experience developing proposals or contracts 
  • 1+ years of experience in Contracts & Pricing and/or Supplier Management Procurement
  • 1+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes 
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. 
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.) 
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry
  • 5+ years of experience with ERP systems such as ERPLN and/or SAP

Summary pay range (Level: 2): $ 68,400 - $ 79,450  

Summary pay range (Level: 3): $ 84,600 - $ 98,250
