The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Infrastructure and Automated Tools Engineer to join our Space Systems Verification and Test team in El Segundo, CA. In this position, you’ll contribute to a team responsible for the hardening, deployment, automation, setup, and readiness of Special Test Equipment in factory and launch environments.
Position Responsibilities:
Work with Product Security, Software and IT engineers to execute the Infrastructure and Tools team scope of work
Interface effectively with multiple technical disciplines in a team environment
Works with the Infrastructure Manager to help transform the existing Test IT Infrastructure and Tools
Designs networks and complex IT Infrastructure, including redundancy and disaster recovery systems
Contributes to important initiatives to upgrade existing infrastructure and leads adoption of latest technologies which include virtualization and automation
Assists in implementing best practices to manage a network server room
Lead the team to develop engineering documentation and processes to reduce waste and maximize repeatability
Setup of infrastructure tools and environments such as Servers, Virtual Machine, Storage, Network/Firewall
Champions Lab Excellence initiatives to continuously improve server room environment
Works in a hands-on lab environment with a variety of different types of test equipment
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Experience managing large server and IT systems, both bare metal and virtual machines
Strong communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Holds a Security+ Certification
Experience in Mix Unix/Linux and Windows, VMWare, NAS/SAN Storage environment
5 or more years leading technical teams
An active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance and current Tier 5 (T5)

Summary Pay Range: $85,850 – $116,150
