The Creative Marketing Manager leads graphic design, content production and PR to bring our design concepts to life through stunning visuals and create marketing materials that showcase our projects. This role plays a pivotal role in translating our innovative architectural and interior designs into captivating graphics and animations that captivate our clients and partners. This role requires a dynamic, collaborative and proactive leader, who sets elevated quality standards and is able to manage each creative project from start to finish – from brainstorming and conceptualizing, to managing production, to obtain final deliverables. 


Responsibilities:


  • Design Leadership: Provide creative direction and leadership to a team of talented graphic designers and content production specialist, ensuring consistent, high-quality design work that aligns with Blue Heron's vision and brand. Define project scope, timelines, allocate resources and help the team prioritize.
  • Marketing Collateral: Develop visually appealing marketing materials including but not limited to print (advertising, direct marketing, brochures, sales collateral), digital (website, social media, online advertising, email marketing) as well as signage and other relevant channels. 
  • Public Relations: Review public relations strategies and implementation and oversee PR Specialist role.
  • Content Production: Oversee all photo and video content production, executed both internally and with external partners. Ensure all content is executed in line with guidelines and cohesive with the brand positioning.
  • Brand Consistency and Strategy: Ensure all design work maintains a consistent and compelling brand identity that reflects Blue Heron's unique design-led development approach. Develop creative strategies, corporate identity and brand guidelines that align with company goals, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across various platforms.
  • Social Media: Actively post social media content through the platforms.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the architectural and interior design teams to produce visuals that convey design concepts, specifications, and details for clients and project teams.
  • Software Proficiency: Actively work in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PremierePro, WordPress, MS Office and identify efficiencies.
  • Budget Management: Manage the allocated budget effectively, making efficient use of resources and tools to deliver top-notch results.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure all design and content production work meets Blue Heron's standards of excellence.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design or Art Direction preferred.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing a design team and delivering successful design projects.
  • Able to adapt to brand standards and understand the importance of a strong brand identity.
  • At least 8+ years of experience managing designers’ workload, deadlines, and skills.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, PremierePro) and WordPress, Social Media Platforms.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (especially PPT).
  • Deadline-oriented with solid organizational skills that enable quick turnaround times.
  • Flexible professional with a can-do outlook who demonstrates mentorship with designers.
  • Able to successfully work within a team structure.
  • Desire to continue to grow their craft.
