Senior Marketing Coordinator

BKF Engineers is seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our team. We’re looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with experience in the water resources or civil engineering industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in deadline-driven environments and excels at bringing clarity and creativity to marketing deliverables. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and strategic thinker who enjoys collaborating with technical and creative teams and supporting team growth through mentorship and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities may include:

• Lead the development of on-time and compliant responses to multiple concurrent client pursuits by developing strategic, persuasive, and high-quality proposals and presentations.
• Works with pursuit teams to identify future pursuits, prioritize opportunities, and develop pursuit strategies and strategic plan(s), including providing business intelligence on clients, competitors, and firm/ consultants to position BKF favorably for the pursuit.
• Tasks will include: copywriting, page layout, document formatting, proofreading, coordinating graphics, editing/reviewing, and production of marketing materials.
• Facilitate strategy discussion and collaborate with teams to develop thematic proposal strategies. 
• Mentor and train junior staff and peers as well as contribute to subject matter training and guides.
• Provide peer review and QA/QC, on marketing materials, as assigned.
• Prepare and coordinate Requests for Information to teaming partners as well as receive, organize, and integrate information into marketing materials.
• Coordinate with department managers for scope and fees, as needed.
• Maintain marketing files and data in Microsoft Windows, Deltek, Hubspot, Adobe, InDesign, OpenAsset with project, contact, and prospect information.
• Actively communicate and collaborate with the internal Marketing and BD Team.
• As assigned, design and execute various marketing and communications materials and campaign pieces in support of the firm’s strategic business plan.
• Coordinate and produce award and recognition submittal packages.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet requirements and deadlines.
• Periodic travel to other BKF offices or off-site locations may be required.
• Assist with other projects and assignments, as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English Degree or equivalent demonstrated experience. 
• Minimum of six years of experience with the RFP, proposal, and interview process with an AEC firm.
• Demonstrated success in leading and winning proposals for within one of BKF’s market sectors.
• Understanding and experience in one or more of BKF’s market sectors.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to work well with others including other marketing team members, department managers, project managers and teaming partners. 
• Strong Graphic Design eye, and page layout capabilities.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.)
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Deltek Vision, Synthesis (Knowledge Architecture) experience a plus.
• Experience in Canva and Hub Spot (or other CRM) a plus.
• Compensation and title commensurate with experience.

• The typical base salary range for this position is - $35.00 - $48.00 hourly, depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
