Junior IT Admin Intern

Join our dynamic IT team as a Junior IT Admin! Reporting to the Manager of IT Operations, you’ll play a key role in supporting our employees and maintaining our technology infrastructure. This internship offers hands-on experience with exciting projects, opportunities to build and improve solutions, and a chance to shape the future of our company’s technology. Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting issues with hardware, software, and systems.
• Assist in managing Active Directory (AD), Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and Citrix environments.
• Support and maintain laptops, desktops, Wyse terminals, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Contribute to IT projects, including deploying new solutions and enhancing existing systems.
• Participate in training sessions to develop skills and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for collaborating effectively.
• Self-motivated and curious, with a desire to grow your IT expertise.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
• Organized and adaptable, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Basic experience or familiarity with the following is a plus (but not required): 
• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, or DHCP.
• Microsoft SQL, VMware, or Citrix.
• PowerShell, Linux, or command-line tools.
• Networking concepts or Cisco hardware.

Education

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a certificate or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
