We specialize in direct-to-consumer healthcare, blending technology, clinical excellence, and operational efficiency to deliver seamless virtual care experiences. With a national provider footprint and a strong product-led team, we’re on a mission to make healthcare more accessible, modern, and human.

About the Role:
Bask Health is seeking a skilled In-House Counsel with deep expertise in telehealth law and/or healthcare compliance. This is a foundational legal role where you’ll own and shape our legal and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate is fluent in the evolving legal landscape of virtual care, and comfortable providing clear, proactive guidance to a fast-moving team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Bask Health’s primary legal advisor on federal and state telehealth regulations, including licensure, prescribing rules, and cross-state operations
  • Advise on compliance with HIPAA, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, and other healthcare-specific regulations
  • Draft, review, and negotiate provider agreements, partnership contracts, and vendor agreements
  • Partner with compliance, product, and operations teams to implement legally sound business processes
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments in digital health, providing timely updates and action plans
  • Support privacy, data protection, and platform security policies
  • Lead or assist internal audits and investigations related to regulatory or legal matters

What We’re Looking For:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 4+ years of legal experience, including either:
    • Direct experience in telehealth/telemedicine law (preferred), or
    • A strong compliance-focused legal background in healthcare
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare laws, digital health regulations, and provider licensure issues
  • Experience drafting and negotiating healthcare contracts
  • A collaborative communicator who can work cross-functionally with non-legal stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, startup environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with direct-to-consumer healthcare models
  • Exposure to privacy frameworks beyond HIPAA (e.g. CCPA, GDPR)
