Job Description

Our mission at Base is to fix the power grid and enable affordable and reliable electricity for all. Responsibilities:

  • Own relationship with standards bodies and nationally recognized test labs (NRTL) on behalf of Base
  • Define requirements for designers to follow to design compliant products
  • Challenge standards bodies on non-standard implementations of standards compliance

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in all compliance requirements for grid tied inverters and batteries
  • Experience taking at least one grid tied battery / inverter from design through compliance testing
  • You have key sections of UL 1741, UL 1973, and UL 9540a committed to memory
  • Strong background knowledge of national electrical code
  • Four year college degree
