Job Description

Our mission at Base is to fix the power grid and enable affordable and reliable electricity for all. Responsibilities:

Own relationship with standards bodies and nationally recognized test labs (NRTL) on behalf of Base
Define requirements for designers to follow to design compliant products
Challenge standards bodies on non-standard implementations of standards compliance

Required Skills / Qualifications:

Deep expertise in all compliance requirements for grid tied inverters and batteries
Experience taking at least one grid tied battery / inverter from design through compliance testing
You have key sections of UL 1741, UL 1973, and UL 9540a committed to memory
Strong background knowledge of national electrical code
Four year college degree
