Role Overview:

Join the esteemed client as a Construction Cost Estimator II. Contribute to one of our prominent construction management/cost control teams at a major energy account, based in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on developing cost estimates for various projects within the Houston area.

What You'll Do:

- Estimate Development: Craft conceptual cost estimates using preliminary design documents with minimal guidance.

- Project Support: Assist Project Managers in evaluating contractor change proposals, material substitutions, and value engineering solutions.

- Cost Management: Maintain and utilize a cost database, drawing on historical project costs for future planning and vendor identification.

- Bid Preparation: Aid in preparing bid packages, scoping contractor bids, and ensuring they align with the project specifics.

- Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, architects, engineers, and local jurisdictions to align project objectives, schedules, and costs.
