Apple is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Retail People Finance team supporting WW Retail Staffing Financial Planning and Analysis. Our work directly impacts customer experience of Apple globally. This Analyst will have influence across various groups, handle confidential information, and carry a very high level of responsibility and exposure.
Retail People Finance partners closely with the Retail leadership team in the management of the Retail business. This role role serves a critical function connecting and communicating Apple Retail performance and staffing costs to the greater Apple finance organization.
Own the annual plan, monthly forecast cycles, and quarterly close process for WW Retail Staffing costs and Headcount. Integrate business trends and dynamic staffing strategies into detailed cost models and forecasts. Support analysis of Retail’s long term strategic priorities. Analyze financial results, including budgets vs. actuals, monthly trends, other expense drivers and operational KPIs. Summarize and articulate key drivers to Retail and Finance leadership. Support labor strategy planning and modeling for new Retail Stores. Drive operational improvements across recurring FP&A tasks, systems and cross functional workflows to contribute to improved forecast accuracy and financial insights. Collaborate with and influence cross-functional business partners to help influence key decision making related to WW Staffing costs and HC levels. Complete strategic and financial analysis for ad hoc work to facilitate executive decision-making related to Store staffing and investments.
2 years of relevant finance experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, accounting or other related field
4-5+ years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis in a high performance and fast-growing organization Big picture thinking with inherent curiosity to connect dots, understand all facets of Apple / Apple Retail, and drive decision making Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with flawless attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate results and increase alignment Ability to partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization Proven experience developing and improving processes, with desire to drive continuous improvement Strong prioritization skills - ability to independently manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment Strong knowledge of Excel and modeling skills. Shown ability to distill complex decisions into simple but comprehensive financial models Experience with presentation software (Keynote preferred), enterprise finance systems (Adaptive Insights preferred, SAP, Blackline), and advanced data analytics tools (Excel, Tableau, etc.) required, SQL knowledge a plus

Minimum Qualifications
2 years of relevant finance experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, accounting or other related field
