Virtual or In Office Medical Call Center Agent

Responsibilities:

- Act as the first point of contact for patients and families, managing inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy

- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with nurses and physicians

- Process and manage patient referrals from healthcare providers and insurance companies

- Accurately enter and update patient information in electronic medical records

- Coordinate and follow-up on patient care plans and services

- Handle inquiries and provide information regarding services offered by Eagle Home Health

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient experience and continuity of care

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience working in a medical call center or customer service role preferred

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service

- Familiarity with electronic medical records and insurance guidelines

- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients of varying backgrounds and ages

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
