Job Description

Eagle Home Health is seeking a highly motivated and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Virtual Medical Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and their families. Our company is dedicated to providing high-quality home health care services to our community, and our customer service team plays a crucial role in ensuring our patients have a positive experience with our services. This is a virtual/remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide top-notch customer service to our patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals via phone, email, and online chat

• Assist with inquiries and concerns, including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and general questions about our services

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic health record system

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient resolution of customer issues

• Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards all customers, even in difficult situations

• Proactively identify areas of improvement in the customer service process and suggest solutions

• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the healthcare industry

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic health record systems is a plus

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Must have a dedicated workspace with a reliable computer and high-speed internet connection
