Sr. Director, Platform Owner, Digital Health Foundational Services

Position Summary

We are looking for a Senior Director of Platform Product Management for our Digital Health Foundational Services portfolio. This role involves managing a strategic platform layer that supports integration, infrastructure, and enterprise services, enabling the creation of customer-facing digital health products. This leader will lead a team of technical product owners defining and executing the platform product strategy that accelerates time-to-market solutions, ensures regulatory readiness, and scales secure, compliant, high-performing services across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D, Digital Health, Regulatory, Service, and IT teams to develop a roadmap for "platform services as a product," outlining clear requirements and dependencies. Work with Digital Health product and engineering teams to create integrated roadmaps that accelerate the adoption of foundational services by Digital Health products.
• Lead a global team of product managers and analysts to develop a clear and actionable platform feature roadmap. Ensure alignment with stage-gate milestones and engineering deliverables to facilitate predictable releases and optimize platform engineering capacity with strong alignment with engineering delivery teams. Foster a high-performance, customer-centric collaborative culture.
• Own and develop the feature roadmap and strategy for cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and CI/CD automation, with a strong emphasis on leveraging cutting-edge AI tools in this space to drive intelligent automation. Define a long-term roadmap that addresses cross-functional needs to accelerate delivery, anticipate automation opportunities, enhance product quality, and maintain continuous compliance.
• Manage the integration infrastructure & lifecycle management roadmap for device/EHR/PACS connectivity with Digital Health applications, collaborating with R&D interoperability teams, DH product/clinical workflow owners, DH architecture and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Alcon teams to develop and implement tools to streamline the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of the Digital Health platform using reusable Enterprise IT and R&D assets. Define, evangelize and drive adoption of metrics and KPIs to measure platform adoption, platform, health, release velocity, quality and platform compliance posture.

Experience requirements

• 10+ years in Digital Product Management, with 5 years in platforming infrastructure roles with experience in large scale implementation of middleware technologies, Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, IDAM.
• Experience in healthcare, MedTech, Fintech or other regulated industries, with deep familiarity in cybersecurity, data privacy, data integration and networking standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2, ISO 27001 etc. )
• Proven success in middleware integration, Cloud (AWS or Azure), API-first platform development, IDAM, Enterprise integrations, and CI/CD environments
• Strong experience in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to create agile feature roadmaps for faster customer product adoption and speed to market.
• Exceptional communication skills; ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
• Passion for digital platform thinking, and empowering developer ecosystems
