Description
The Director of Business Development and Marketing is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and overseeing brand strategy. This role blends strategic planning with marketing innovation to identify new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and lead cross-functional marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a track record in both business development and marketing leadership.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, and marketing roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful growth and marketing strategies
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, analytics & branding
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Proven success in building relationships with clients, partners & internal stakeholders
- Transportation/tourism experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Manage, lead, and evaluate teams in multiple different markets
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships & market segments
- Develop and adjust sales processes
- Develop and execute plans to manage and grow accounts
- Keep a pulse on the markets being managed
- Analyze marketing metrics to optimize performance and ROI
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels and communications
- Compose and review bid proposals
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Accounting, and Maintenance teams to align growth strategies
- Present quarterly reports and performance updates to senior leadership
