As our Marketing Manager, you’ll play a vital role in bringing that vision to life by helping more Minnesotans discover services that empower them to stay in their homes and communities. 


This is more than just a marketing role, it's a chance to shape how thousands of families, caregivers, and referral partners experience and connect with Accra. You’ll lead with heart and hustle, crafting compelling campaigns, building a high-performing team, and making the word “Accra” synonymous with “Homecare” across Minnesota. 


We’re looking for a player-coach: someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, create powerful content and campaigns, and also nurture and grow a small team to scale our impact. You'll own the function, collaborate across the organization, and bring strategy to life in ways that drive real, measurable outcomes, like increased referrals and greater brand visibility. 


What Success Looks Like 

  • You help drive a 10%+ increase in referrals year over year, working closely with our Community Resource Team. 
  • You will elevate our SEO performance to secure top search rankings for high-priority keywords related to our services. 
  • We begin tracking our cost to acquire a client (CAC) and lay the groundwork for deeper campaign performance analysis. 
  • You provide thoughtful, data-informed recommendations on high-visibility brand initiatives within your first 60 days, demonstrating both creative judgment and strategic alignment. 
  • You build and lead a happy, motivated team, setting goals, offering feedback, and developing team members into future leaders. 

What You’ll Own 

  • Campaign Execution & Management: Plan and run multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, web, social, print) that reach the right people with the right message and inspire action. 
  • Referral Partner Communication: Design and deliver the monthly “Accra Advocate” Newsletter, keeping our referral sources informed, inspired, and engaged. 
  • Content Creation: Write and design powerful stories and materials, from client success stories to service overviews, that speak directly to the needs and emotions of families, caregivers, and case managers. 
  • Marketing Operations: Own our digital marketing infrastructure, including our website (WordPress), email platform, and social media channels, ensuring consistency, clarity, and accuracy. 
  • Internal Collaboration & Story Sourcing: Partner with outreach, operations, and care teams to surface real-life moments that reflect the heart of what we do and share them with the world. 
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track key metrics like engagement and traffic. Start building toward full visibility into CAC and campaign ROI. 
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a small but mighty marketing team. Set clear goals, give supportive feedback, and foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and purpose.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or related role.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, with focus on coaching, accountability, culture and driving results.
  • WordPress website management. 
  • Email marketing (MailChimp or equivalent). 
  • Persona development and journey mapping. 
  • Canva or other visual content tools. 
  • Basic understanding of marketing analytics and CAC. 
  • Foundational people management: goal setting, feedback, reviews.
