THE WORK:
  • You'll manage, oversee, and coordinate all facets of pre-construction, project development, bid/award, and project close-out phase of all assigned projects.
  • You'll work with the design team to focus on the approved original project scope.
  • You'll plan, organize, and prepare reports to upper management with respect to the status and/or progress of the projects.
  • You'll coordinate with all pertinent public agencies to complete federal and state requirements as needed; coordinate with representatives from various utility and government agencies to obtain timely action on successive phases of project completion.
  • You'll monitor project budgets on a monthly basis and ensures that budgets accurately reflect the status/progress of projects.
  • You'll resolve complex planning, design and construction project-related issues, disputes and disagreements.
  • You'll review status and overall planning, design, and construction project progress and ensure project scopes stay within the approved project definition,
  • You'll assist project team with contracts, bid, and contract planning.
  • You'll implement project or program policy guidelines and procedures; suggest improvements and implement approved changes.
  • You'll evaluate new developments and strategies affecting program objectives and results.
  • You'll work with technical personnel to estimate costs of building and alteration projects.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.


HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Minimum 10 years full time paid professional experience managing public/educational or commercial projects; with full responsibility for coordinating complex activities from project inception, project planning, design, project development to close-out
  • Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
  • Possession of a valid Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential may be substituted for the required education
  • Candidates who do not meet the education requirement may substitute experience on a year- for-year basis and demonstrate extensive proficiency in the duties indicated


BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Proficiency in managing various educational modernization projects is preferred

$141,818 - $156,000 a year
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland, New Jersey, New York or Washington as set forth below.
