About the team

The Business Operations (“BizOps”) team serves as the central nervous system of ZHL, responsible for defining and delivering ZHL’s next phase of evolution and growth. This team focuses on our most critical and strategic cross-company projects, ranging from overall company strategy to owning key strategic projects in partnership with senior-most leaders across Zillow Group.

About the role

The Sr. Program Manager, Business Operations will tackle a variety of unstructured challenges, diving into a wide array of problems that drive impact for ZHL across sales, operations, product, go-to-market, and analytics. The focus of this role will be to help ZHL grow by analyzing business trends and evaluating growth opportunities, identifying white space and product strategy opportunities, supporting quarterly and annual planning, developing new operational processes, innovating our go to market strategy, and partnering with leadership on special projects. The role requires someone who is highly analytical and strategic, a great communicator, approaches problems in a structured manner, and is comfortable with ambiguity. You’ll get senior leadership exposure, focus on high-priority initiatives, and be plugged into every facet of the business.

You Will Get To:

Partner with senior leadership to drive growth and business impact of ZHL’s product organization:

  • Evaluate and identify growth opportunities: Perform market sizing, sensitivity analyses, and scenario modeling to identify and quantify revenue-generating product initiatives, with a focus on tools for internal sales enablement and customer experience improvements

  • Influencing product strategy: synthesize customer pain points, competitive intel, and funnel data into clear roadmap recommendations for the Product Leadership Team.

  • Drive funnel and performance analytics: Deep dive into the sales & product conversion funnel, from lead to funded loan, and translate findings into concrete product or process recommendations.

  • Develop executive-ready business cases: Prepare concise memos and presentations that link data insights to strategic choices, ensuring stakeholders understand the rationale and expected outcomes.

  • Support quarterly planning: Support quarterly prioritization and OKR processes that rank proposed features by business impact and resource requirements, enabling leadership to make clear, data-backed prioritization decisions.

  • Drive cross-functional projects: Coordinate with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to plan and execute high-impact initiatives, monitoring progress against defined KPIs.

  • Support high-priority leadership asks. Provide rapid, well-structured analyses when time-sensitive questions arise, giving executives clear options and trade-offs.

  • Institutionalize operating rhythms: Support and refine OKR, KPI, and post-mortem processes that promote accountable decision-making and continuous improvement across the product organization.

Who you are

  • Minimum of 6–9+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in top-tier management consulting or investment banking, plus experience working with product teams within startups, tech, or other high-growth settings.

  • Data-driven problem solver with advanced Excel/Sheets skills and working knowledge BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau). SQL experience preferred.

  • Proven at building market, financial, and funnel models to size opportunities and diagnose performance gaps.

  • Clear communicator who turns analysis into concise, executive-ready memos and presentations; strong written and verbal presence with senior stakeholders.

  • First-principles thinker who questions assumptions and designs pragmatic, scalable solutions.
