You will make an impact by:
- Supervising online faculty in all relevant aspects of the West Coast University faculty competencies related to online instruction and ensure fully online courses are taught effectively.
- Participating in developing and applying policies and procedures for hiring, training, developing, evaluating, mentoring, and coaching faculty teaching fully online courses.
- Completing faculty course checks and performance reviews on a consistent schedule, and on an as needed basis.
- Completing faculty assignment scheduling on a consistent schedule and identifies faculty substitutes or replacements as needed.
- Working closely with the Student Success teams to identify and support students with academic deficits. Guides faculty in supporting student success for students at risk of course failure on a weekly basis.
- Addressing and resolving concerns and disputes between online faculty and students as observed and/or assigned by the Director of Online Learning. These concerns may include plagiarism reviews, student conduct issues, and grade disputes/concerns.
Completing faculty performance assessments through the review and facilitation of the distributing student, course and, faculty evaluation results to faculty and engaging faculty in understanding the results.
- Adheres to a cycle of revision and review of online programs, online instruction and online faculty expectations. This may also include engaging in program and course learning outcomes reviews of online curriculum.
- Analyzing faculty data, prepare necessary reports, evaluate, and analyze program effectiveness and resource utilization for effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Participating in developing and maintaining all course policies and procedures governing online instruction. This includes LOA requests, faculty workload, policy exceptions, and faculty substantive engagement, and student attendance.
Your Experience Includes:
- Typically requires advanced practical knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of a single professional discipline or a broad understanding of multiple related disciplines. Experience leading a team, project, program, or function is typically required.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work and educational experience.
- Experience in the field of Speech language Pathology.
- Remote work experience preferred.
- Ability to manage projects and people, participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- Ability to use creative facilitation and conflict resolution skills to resolve difficult and sensitive issues.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare necessary reports, evaluate, and analyze program effectiveness and resource utilization.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. degree preferred in higher education, education, or Communication Sciences & Disorders

CA Salary Range
USD $85,402.45 - USD $123,807.03 /Yr.Outside CA Salary Range
USD $74,899.54 - USD $108,636.16 /Yr.Bonus Eligible
