We are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer- AI to join our innovative team and help us design, develop, and deploy AI-powered calling agents.

As a Principal Software Engineer- AI, you will play a pivotal role in creating next-generation voice systems by combining your expertise in Text-to-Speech (TTS), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science. Your work will directly impact the design of lifelike conversational agents capable of seamless interactions with human users. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and linguists, to deliver exceptional voice-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable Voice AI calling agents using state-of-the-art TTS and NLP techniques.
  • Build and fine-tune text-to-speech systems to produce natural, human-like speech output tailored for diverse customer interactions.
  • Develop and optimize NLP pipelines for intent recognition, named entity extraction, sentiment analysis, and context-aware dialogue management.
  • Integrate machine learning models and AI frameworks to enhance conversation flow, personalize interactions, and improve response accuracy.
  • Apply data science principles to analyze large datasets, identify performance bottlenecks, and continuously improve voice AI models.
  • Collaborate closely with data annotation and linguistic teams to enhance language models and ensure high-quality speech synthesis and comprehension.
  • Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and performance tuning of the AI calling agents to ensure seamless, real-time voice interactions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in TTS, NLP, ML, and voice AI technologies, and apply innovative solutions to business challenges.
  • Document system architecture, workflows, and best practices to support long-term scalability and maintainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in developing voice-based AI solutions, including TTS, NLP, and conversational AI applications.
  • Solid understanding of text-to-speech (TTS) engines, speech synthesis techniques, and audio signal processing.
  • Proven experience with natural language processing (NLP) frameworks such as spaCy, NLTK, Transformers, or similar libraries.
  • Strong foundation in machine learning and data science, with proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.
  • Experience working with voice AI platforms and APIs (e.g., Google Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Microsoft Bot Framework).
  • Knowledge of dialogue management, speech recognition systems, and conversational flow design.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and apply statistical methods and AI algorithms to enhance system performance.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Computational Linguistics, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with neural TTS models (e.g., Tacotron, WaveNet) and transformer-based NLP models.
  • Experience in developing real-time voice applications with low-latency requirements.
  • Exposure to cloud-based voice solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalable deployments.
