About the Role
As Head of Creative, you’ll be the visionary and hands-on leader of Sam’s Club’s creative expression. You’ll set the standard for creative excellence across every touchpoint: brand, digital, performance, and in-club. You’ll lead a hybrid team of internal talent and agency partners, shaping how our brand shows up in the world and ensuring every expression builds equity, drives value, and reflects the future of membership.
What you'll do...
• Drive the Creative Vision - Steward the Sam’s Club brand identity with a bold, cohesive, multi-sensory expression of our member experience across every channel and moment.
• Lead Brand Transformation - Bring experience managing large-scale agencies and brand evolutions. You’ll articulate vision with clarity, earn trust in high-stakes moments, and galvanize teams around bold, future-forward ideas.
• Build and Lead a Modern Creative System - Architect a hybrid model that blends in-house talent with external partners to deliver high-velocity, high-impact creative. You’ll ensure we’re social-first, AI-fluent, and always iterating.
• Champion the Member Experience - Translate our brand promise into tangible, delightful experiences across campaigns, content, and the in-club environment. You’ll use data to make it personal and creativity to make it joyful.
• Collaborate Across the Business - Partner deeply with Marketing, Product, Membership, Merchandising, Tech, MAP (our ads business), Financial Services, and Operations to embed creativity throughout the full member journey.
Who You Are
• A modern creative leader with 15+ years of experience, including leadership roles in agency and/or brand-side organizations.
• Proven experience leading brand transformations and managing large-scale agency relationships.
• Fluent in Gen AI creative tools and platforms, with a forward-looking mindset.
• A compelling communicator who can inspire and move teams forward.
• Deeply experienced in both brand building and performance creative, with a passion for data-informed storytelling.
• A culture-builder who leads with clarity, empathy, and a sense of belonging.

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00-$320,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 8 years' experience leading creative teams OR 10 years’ experience leading creative teams.8 years' supervisory experience.
