Reporting To: Taylor Mantey
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 / year

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Staff Engineer to join our team in Grand Rapids or Plymouth, MI. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with a Project Manager and team, and drive the design of various Civil/Site Development projects. Quick thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with technical, and civil engineering design or provide Project Management
- Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources:
- Stormwater management design
- Site grading
- Erosion and sediment control design
- Prepare plans for agency/municipal review
- Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications
- Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
- Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand
- Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
- E1 Certification preferred
- 0-2 years related work experience
- Understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D
