Job Description

The Senior Financial Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer payments, managing accounts receivable transactions, and fostering positive client relationships. The successful candidate will possess excep-tional organizational, communication, and analytical skills, coupled with a meticulous at-tention to detail. This role will also serve as the primary point of contact for all customer billing and invoicing inquiries. Through email and 1800-customer support number.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the dedicated point person for all customer billing and invoicing inquiries received via email and phone, providing prompt and accurate responses.
  • Follow up on overdue payments, proactively address payment discrepancies, and collaborate with internal teams to achieve swift resolution.
  • Conduct regular and thorough reconciliation of customer accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for in accordance with order forms and contractual terms.
  • Investigate and resolve complex discrepancies or issues related to customer accounts with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with customers regarding billing inquiries, payment status, and account details, demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a trusted partner to clients to facilitate timely payments and build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging meticulously and collaborate strategically with key internal stakeholders to align on approaches that effectively reduce outstanding balances and minimize bad debt exposure.
  • Implement proactive and effective collection efforts, including the timely sending of reminders, conducting professional collection calls, and negotiating mutually agreeable payment plans.
  • Generate, analyze, and present insightful reports related to accounts receivable, aging, and cash flow to support informed management decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive operational dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide clear visibility into AR processes and identify areas for improvement in efficiency.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities to streamline accounts receivable processes, leveraging best practices and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Customer Success, Legal) to implement process improvements and drive best practices within the broader AR function.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for executive-level communication regarding accounts receivable status, potential risks, and strategic initiatives.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing accounts receivable, resolving complex billing issues, and interacting directly with customers.
  • Strong familiarity with accounting software, with a preference for experience with NetSuite.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate complex spreadsheets and perform data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles, billing processes, and financial transactions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating a professional, customer-focused, and executive-ready approach.
  • Highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and adept at managing multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with remote teams across different time zones to achieve shared objectives.
  • Comfortable and adaptable to working in a dynamic and rapidly evolving work environment.
