Position: ETL Testing Role
We are excited to announce an opening for an ETL Testing Role at Talent Worx. The successful candidate will focus on validating ETL processes to ensure high data quality and integrity throughout our data pipelines. You will collaborate with data teams to ensure that data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded from a variety of sources into our data warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for ETL processes.
- Analyze and validate ETL workflows to ensure proper transformation of data according to business requirements.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and verification within various database environments.
- Identify, document, and track defects along with providing clear and concise reports on test outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and analysts, to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Participate in data profiling and quality checks to ensure that data meets predefined standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvements regarding testing methodologies and processes within the ETL domain.
Key Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in ETL testing or data quality assurance.
- Proficient in SQL and familiar with various database systems to validate complex data queries.
- Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Microsoft SSIS) and concepts.
- Experience in data validation, profiling, and data quality assessment techniques.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data flows and visual representation of data.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
