Technical Project Manager
Job Description
About Rialo:
Rialo is the next generation of decentralized infrastructure.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a hybrid Technical Project Manager + Developer Advocate who thrives at the intersection of shipping product and growing communities. You’re likely a former developer who understands the tools and frustrations of modern builders. You can manage execution across workstreams, but you’re also energized by building relationships with developers, learning from their experience, and making them wildly successful on our platform.
You believe in the power of AI to augment your workflow, and in the value of being close to users. This role is core to our go-to-market and ecosystem growth.
What You’ll Do
Project & Technical Execution
Lead technical planning and execution across our core network and developer-facing initiatives
Coordinate engineering timelines, dependencies, and milestones with engineers, product and leadership
Write PRDs or requirements and manage the backlog
Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality core, developer tools and experiences
Draft and communicate status periodically
Identify risks and work to mitigate them constantly
Escalate issue and work to resolve them proactively
Developer Advocacy
Serve as a direct line to Rialo’s builders: host workshops, gather feedback, and shape our roadmap
Build and scale community programs (e.g. dev challenges, hackathons, office hours)
Create high-quality content (samples, tutorials, quickstarts) alongside engineers
Represent Rialo at developer conferences, online spaces, and strategic partner engagements
Strategic Impact
Define what excellence in developer experience looks like for Rialo
Leverage AI tools to streamline docs, onboarding, and developer support
Act as the connective tissue between engineering, product, and ecosystem growth
What We’re Looking For
Prior experience as a software engineer in Web3
Deep familiarity with developer communities, tools, and what makes technical teams effective
Clear communicator with strong writing, content, and coordination skills (or the knowledge of how to use AI to get there)
Active in crypto / open-source ecosystems, Twitter, Telegram, Discord, or GitHub
Comfort using AI to increase productivity
Bias toward learning, listening, and building with users
Bonus Points
2–5 years in project or technical program management roles
Familiarity with Rust, TypeScript, or blockchain-specific SDKs
Prior work on dev tools, CLIs, or documentation systems
Experience running developer events or ambassador programs
